Cheaper Connections To The Internet

Washington, D.C.

Union Plus is offering a new Internet service that can save IUE-CWA families up to $90 a year compared to other providers such as AOL, Earthlink and MSN.

The new Union Plus service provides unlimited accelerated, or "high-speed," dial-up Internet service at a low cost of $14.95 per month.

The service is five times faster than a regular 56K dial-up.

In addition to the Internet connection, the service provides:

  • A customizable home page;
  • Multiple e-mail accounts;
  • Parental controls and spam filtering;
  • A working-family friendly Internet shopping area that features Union Plus and union-made products and excludes anti-union companies; and
  • Free 24/7 customer service and technical support.

All of these features are accessible through a downloadable toolbar that installs itself to an existing copy of Internet Explorer.
If you already have an Internet connection, the toolbar may be purchased separately for just $39.95 a year.
