Union members received a special bonus for Labor Day, with an offer from the Auto Workers and General Motors for a $500 discount off the majority of GM vehicles, including Corvette, Cadillac and Hummer H2.
The discount coupon can be combined with any other consumer discount including cash back and zero percent financing. It also can be used with an employee discount.
The discount expires November 1, so be sure to get to the showroom now if you are looking to buy a new car.
The hope is that enough vehicles will be purchased using the coupons to keep one GM plant open for a full year.
