Rep. Turner Asks for Justice at GM on House Floor
July 28, 2009
Rep. Mike Turner (R-OH) took to the floor of the House of Representatives during a debate on health care reform to ask why the first step for the government isn't protecting the benefits of the GM workers who already have promised care.
Turner, whose father is an IUE-CWA retiree with 40 years' service, said the retirees should not be discriminated against because they are not members of the UAW.
