To comply with federal law, election notices published in IUE-CWA News must appear in an issue that is mailed to local members no later than 15 days before the elections. To allow time for publication and mailing, election notices should be sent to IUE-CWA News at least 16 WEEKS BEFORE NOMINATION AND ELECTION, indicating the offices to be filled (not names of the candidates); and the date, time and place of election.
