Please register here for the trainings you wish to attend on Tuesday and Wednesday. Note that space is limited and on a first-come basis. Some classes are all-day, others are two or four hour blocks.

Tuesday July 21st

You can either register for one Full Day class:

8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Basic Steward Training (You must also register for Bargaining Training on Wednesday)

8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Local Election Training

OR you can register for a combination of the following:

8:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. Fighting Oligarchy Training

8:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. Roberts Rules of Order for Presidents/Recording Secretaries

12:30 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Immigration: Know your Rights!

12:30 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. RCS Financial Software for Locals: Learn how it can save you time and money!

2:15 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. “Strong People Struggle Too: What to Do When You Don’t Have It All Together,” Phillitia Charlton

Wednesday July 22nd

You can either register for one Full Day class:

8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Financial Controls & Dues Training

OR you can register for a combination of the following:

8:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m. Fundamentals of Health and Safety

8:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m. Mapping your Local and Identifying Leaders

12:30 p.m.-3:30 p.m. Make your life easier with Gsuite: using Gmail, Google Drive, Docs and Sheets

1:00 p.m.–3:30 p.m. Building Labor’s Agenda: On the Shop Floor and in our Communities. Before, During, and After elections.
